and it amazes me how alike they are AND how well they get along. We took some princess pictures when she was over playing.

It's been One Whole Year!

I said to Liam's Mommy that I was getting teary-eyed putting together his slideshow and I was. I got so sad. I guess 'cause it means time is ticking by faster than I would like. Lola's is starting kindergarten and the babies I've photographed since they were born are growing up so fast.

Pre-K Graduation is almost here!!

I'm so sad for me. It means time has ticked by and there is less time for me to enjoy one of the most beautiful, funny, loving, adorable kids ever. I LOVE HER SO MUCH!!!

Noah!!

When Noah's Mommy told he was a good baby, she wasn't jokin'! He was so sleepy. We kept changing and moving him around. We tried and tried to get some sleeping pictures but Noah wasn't having any part of it. He never cried. He just sat there and smiled. =)

Marina...

Marina was such a little doll with the most beautiful blue eyes. They changed depending on how I changed my lighting from steel blue to a deep sea blue. She's just gorgeous. She was in studio and such a little trooper.

Cherry Blossoms and Apples

Look at these apples. They looked so beautiful I had to buy them and take pictures.

And of course the cherry blossoms. Luckily we have this pretty little tree in our backyard and I didn't have to trek into DC and fight the mobs of people.

Lola's Exciting News!

Lola has been accepted to our first choice private school!!! It's a Catholic school. We could of sent her either one of two. We liked this one the best. We are all very excited. Lola has decided she wants to go to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate. So that's where we'll go. We love her so much. This is an awesome opportunity for her to begin to fulfill her dreams of being a doctor. Ok so her exact words were dinosaur doctor. We are right on the track though.

1st Birthday Invites....

One of my other favorite things is playing around in PS CS. So when I get asked to to do announcements, Christmas Cards, 1st Birthday Invites, etc...I love it! I had some templates and I played around. These are for a client. If you're looking for cards for any occasion give me a shout!

Mommy Blues!

Lola starts kindergarden in a few months and I'm have Mommy Blues. She grew up way too fast. She was (and still is) the best baby I could of hoped for.

It's all very hush hush at the moment but we have been working on some very exciting news!!!

California Dreamin'

Our trip to Cali...



Most people go to California for the sunny warm weather. Not us. Immediately we head up to Lake Tahoe for some snow tubin'! You've never seen mountains until you've been to the Sierra Nevadas. Gorgeous. I grew up learning to snow and water ski there. Some of my fondest childhood memories are there. So we decided to take Lola. Granted it was almost 60 degrees while we were snow tubin' but that just proves California has the best of both worlds. We spent some time with my best friend (I've known her since we were 2yrs old), her kids and her squeeze. I miss her so much.

We also met up with some friends (who also live on the East Coast) in San Francisco. Seemed a bit strange to travel 3000+ miles to meet up with friends that live a 5 hr drive away. But we had fun! Hopefully John and Joey will come for a visit to Virginia soon.

Nana Rose was just home from the hospital so she couldn't come with us on all of our California adventures but we did get to spend lots of time with her. Lola laid in bed with her and read her stories, played tic-tac-toe, and told her all about what she does in Virginia to keep herself busy. Hopefully Nana Rose will come and visit us soon too! We miss her lots.

If you haven't seen his work check him out. He's awesome! I loved this idea and wanted to try it out mainly because it was so cute but also to see if I could do it and how much photoshopping was involved. I'll just say it's a lot more than just slapping 2 pictures together.
